Roseleigh, a birders paradise, has an abundance of birdlife attracted by the streams and surrounding wetland.

There is a dam on the farm, conveniently situated for fishing and possibly relaxing under the warm sun floating on a tube or something similar. There are a variety of walking and mountain biking trails with direct access from the gardens.

The country house also has a variety of board games for those rainy days and cold winter nights to get competitive with the warm log fire in the background.
